The MTC is a non-profit arts organization that depends on contributions like yours to bring the magic of live musical theatre to patrons and students of the Ithaca community and the greater Tompkins County area.
In the past five years since its founding, The MTC has produced such musicals as Stephen Sondheim's Assassins, Into the Woods and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Jason Robert Brown's The Last Five Years and Songs For A New World, William Finn's A New Brain, Andew Lippa's The Wild Party, Bat Boy: The Musical, Cabaret, I Love You Because, and Little Shop Of Horrors, enriching the community while giving our members hands on training and experience in the arts. We are also responsible for bringing Jeff Marx, creator of Avenue Q, to Cornell University's campus to meet and work with students and company members. In 2007, we gained status as a 501(c)(3) in the state of New York, making any contribution to our company 100% tax-deductible for our donors.
We depend on donations large and small from generous donors like you. As a sponsor, there are so many ways you can help us to enhance the experiences of those forty-plus members of our organization, the next generation of theatre professionals and audiences, in addition to the thousands of viewers we reach yearly.
