Little Women
MEGAN BEARD (Jo March) is a freshman Musical Theatre Major at Ithaca College and hails from Los Angeles, California. Little Women: The Musical marks her first production with the MTC, and she couldn't be more excited. She was most recently seen in IC's No Bucks production of Dave Da Vinci Saves the Universe as Cass Meridian. Favorite past credits include: Mattel's The American Girl Revue (Josefina in the Original Los Angeles Cast), Anything Goes (Hope), Good News (Professor Kenyon), Inherit the Wind (Rachel), Bury the Dead (performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival), The Sound of Music (Leisl), and Into the Woods (Cinderella). She would like to thank her friends, family, and teachers, along with entire cast and crew for allowing her such a wonderful opportunity!
JEREMY EHLINGER (Professor Bhaer) is a sophomore BA Drama major at Ithaca College originally from Rochester, NY. He is very excited to perform in his first MTC production. His previous credits include Five Flights (Ed) and Into the Woods (Cinderella's Prince) at IC as well as Hair (Woof), What's Wrong With This Picture? (Artie), The Fantasticks (Matt), Bat Boy: The Musical (Ned/Clem), Rumors (Ernie), and The Laramie Project (Jedadiah) back home. He wants to thank his family for supporting him in everything he does.
ELISE MYETTE (Amy March, Troll) is thrilled to be in her first MTC production. A freshman Musical Theatre major at Ithaca College, Elise was last seen as Steph in Ithaca's underground production of Reasons to Be Pretty. She has also played Diana Barry in a reading of the world-premiere, new work of Anne of Green Gables at the Village Theatre. Some favorite roles include Mother in Ragtime, Maria in West Side Story, and Audrey in Little Shop Of Horrors, for which she recieved a 5th Avenue High School Musical Award for Best Leading Actress. Love to cast, crew, M&D&E.
ALANNA SMITH (Meg March, Clarissa) is a New Jersey native and a freshman at Ithaca College working toward a degree in Musical Theatre. Little Women: The Musical kicks off her first production with the MTC, and she is thankful for this great opportunity. She is most recently credited with the role of Carly in an IC underground production of Reasons to Be Pretty. Favorite past credits include The Music Man (Marian), A Funny Thing...Forum (Philia), Oklahoma! (Laurey), Guys and Dolls (Adelaide), and Rapunzarella White (Cinderella). A heartfelt thanks to her mom, dad, sisters and brothers (both new and original), and the dream team for their endless support and enthusiasm. And thank you to the cast, crew, and production team for such a memorable experience.
KATIE MEISTER (Beth March) is a senior Occupational Therapy major at Ithaca College. She is so grateful for the opportunity to portray a March sister in her first production with the MTC. Most recently, Katie performed the role of Sister Mary Amnesia in Nunsense in her hometown of Rochester, NY. Other favorite credits include You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Lucy), Into the Woods (Little Red), 42nd Street (Peggy Sawyer), and CATS (Jellylorum). Much love to the incredibly talented and dedicated cast and production team. She would also like to send a special thanks to her family, for giving her hope and a reason to sing.
ARIEL ARBISSER (Marmee March), an Iowa native, returns for her eighth production with the MTC. Ariel was Runner-Up for Favorite Female Vocalist of 2010 in the A cappella Community Awards, was featured by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, included on the international compilation album of the best a cappella tracks in the world for 2011, and recently had the opportunity to perform and record with the award-winning professional all-male a cappella group Overboard. Ariel is completing her second semester with the Actor's Workshop of Ithaca where she was a part of the production Poona the F***dog (and other plays for children). Ariel would like to thank her parents for their support and the cast and crew for a ridiculously amazing show!
DUNCAN FULLER (Mr. Laurence, Knight) is a freshman writing major at Ithaca College. Duncan has performed in several musicals at the Mansfield High School including Beauty and the Beast (Lefou) and Pirates of Penzance (Sergeant) under the capable direction of Shiela Newton. He would like to thank Allison, Caitie, Alex and Elizabeth for their unconditional support.
HARRISON MELOENY (Theodore "Laurie" Laurence III, Rodrigo) is thrilled to be working with the wonderful team at the MTC. Past credits include The Light in The Piazza (U/S for Fabriziou, Ensemble) and 7th and Schwartz (Francois), a musical honoring the work of Stephen Schwartz, Sweeney Todd (Anthony), Cabaret (Cliff) and Little Shop Of Horrors (Seymour). At Ithaca College, Harrison performed in Bat Boy: The Musical (Bat Boy), Children of Eden (Swing) and Directing II’s presentation of Bug (Peter). He would like to thank his friends and family for always having faith in him. He’d also like to thank his teachers on both coasts for always pushing him.
MICHELLE COSENTINO (Aunt March, The Hag) is ecstatic to be making her MTC debut! She is currently studying Vocal Performance and Music Education at Ithaca College. Past favorite roles have included Miss Flannery in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Ensemble in Les Misérables and Dorothy in The Wiz. Michelle has also been nominated twice for a Long Island STARS award for her roles as Belle in Beauty and the Beast and Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes. Enormous thanks to friends, family, Doc, and everyone at the MTC for keeping the passion alive!
DREW KELLOGG (Mr. John Brooke, Braxton) is a freshman in the Park School of Communications at Ithaca College, pursuing a major in Journalism and a minor in Sociology. This is his first production with the MTC. Past shows include high school productions of Little Women (Laurie), Once Upon A Mattress (Prince Dauntless), My Favorite Year (Benjy Stone), and Kiss Me, Kate (Bill Calhoun). He would like to thank his family, his friends, his past musical directors, Sue Gamet and Heather Dunning, and the cast and crew of Little Women.
MAGGIE MOE (Mrs. Kirk) is a sophomore Acting Major from Ithaca College and couldn't be more excited to be making her MTC debut! Previous credits include Women and Wallace (Victoria), Dog Sees God (Trisha), Bat Boy: The Musical (Ruthie/Ned), Almost, Maine (Glory) and Into the Woods (Florinda).
